Venue notes: Arena, Rotterdam NLOnetime movie theater, built in 1931, that became a concert venue in 1985. It was located at West Kruiskade 26 and began life as the Roxy. It operated as Arena from 1939 to 1988, when it was renamed Nighttown, which folded in 2006. The building changed hands after that and closed in 2010, at which time plans to convert it to a Chinese shopping mall were announced.
