| When Grant Hart was invited to sing the National Anthem prior to a St Paul Saints home game at Midway Stadium, the players afterward presented him with a baseball autographed by the team members. Grant plastered a couple of vintage postage stamps from his collection on the ball, then took it straight to the post office to get it postmarked in order to preserve the date. Unfortunately, the date is illegible, but Grant's personal recollections coupled with a check of old Saints schedules has led to a tentative date of 03 Sep 2000. |
