Die Röhre ("The Tube") was a long-lived rock venue located in the mouth
of a closed railroad tunnel at Willy-Brandt-Strasse 2/1. Top photo dates to
the 1950s and shows the old Wagenburgtunnel; the future site of Röhre
is the tube on the left. The next photo down (Alamy) is probably from the 1990s,
as it features the old entry sign; photo below that (Wikimedia) is from 2010; the
next two below are undated; the bottom photo, showing the start of demolition,
is from 2012.
