Irving Plaza sign photo: unknown
Fillmore at Irving Plaza, formerly just Irving Plaza, near E 15th St in NYC.
The first two shots were taken at dusk in Oct 2009. (The camera lacks two
important features: decent low-light capability and a competent operator.)
The camera-shy individual in the top photo is John Cinalli. Photo of the
old sign is undated. The formerly independent Irving Plaza was taken over
by Live Nation in early 2007 and rebranded as a "Fillmore," one of several
neo-Fillmores scattered around the US. Note that this is not the
site of the original Fillmore East. Check out the
