The Princess Charlotte (later renamed simply "The Charlotte") was located on
Oxford Street in Leicester, opposite DeMontfort University. It closed as a
music venue in Mar 2010 and reopened a few years later as a pub. At some
point, the building was (partially?) remodeled for student housing. Current status
is uncertain. Top image dates to circa 1984. Center left image dates to
Mar 2010; center right image, showing an added story and a new roof, was taken
in Jul 2011. Bottom image was captured in Sep 2014. Hüsker Dü
played here on 24 Mar 1986; Grant Hart/Nova Mob played here on 26 Sep 1991,
25 Sep 1992, and 13 May 1994.
