Originally called
Off The Wall Hall in the late 1970s, The club underwent
a few name changes before becoming The Bottleneck in 1985. As of
2023, it remains in operation at 737 New Hampshire St. No photos
from the Off The Wall era have been found. The top image shows
The Bottleneck in 2011. Sometime after that the club's sign was
updated; the middle image, from 2018, shows the new sign. The
bottom image is from 2021.
Hüsker Dü played Off The Wall Hall on 22 Dec 1982. Bob Mould played The Bottleneck on 10 Nov 1989, 24 Oct 1991 (band), 24 Oct 1991 (solo acoustic), and 16 Aug 2013 (band). Sugar played The Bottleneck on 14 Oct 1992. Grant Hart/Nova Mob played The Bottleneck on 24 Sep 1994. |
