This theater, at 1735 Vine St in Hollywood, has been known by a multitude of
different names since its 1927 opening. It was The Palace from 1982-2002, when
it was sold to new owners who renamed it Avalon (still in operation as of 2019).
Top left photo, salvaged from the long-vanished Palace website, shows the place
sometime during its years as The Palace. Remaining photos show it as Avalon. Top
right image is undated; image below it is from 2007; bottom image is from 2018.
