Venue notes: Powerhaus, LondonPub and live music space that was located at 1 Liverpool Road in Islington from roughly 1989-1995. According to this site, the venue was called The Pied Bull from 1971 (or earlier) to 1988 (or later). The building (once evidently the home of Sir Walter Raleigh) was still standing and occupied as of 2019, at which time it was a branch of Halifax Bank.There was another venue named Powerhaus at 240 Seven Sister Road in Finsbury Park in operation from 1996-2004, but it's not certain if it was the old Powerhaus relocated or a separate entity altogether.
