Venue notes: 501 Club, Minneapolis MNDefunct music club that was located at 501 Washington Ave S in downtown Minneapolis. According to this Star Tribune article, the club was opened in spring of 2009 by Jarret Oulman, owner of the 331 Club in northeast Minneapolis. By the summer of 2010, it became apparent to Oulman that the casual 331 Club model was not financially feasible in the more expensive downtown environment, and the club closed on 08 Jan 2011.
