Venue notes: Mi Casita, Torrance CAThis place is a Mexican café in Torrance (24650 Crenshaw Blvd, 213-957-4718) with a performance space featuring salsa and merengue. It seems that punk rock was not ordinarily presented; Ed Nystrom (along with his brother Andy) roadied for the Jan 1983 Hüsker Dü show there, about which he noted, looking back in Aug 2001: "That show may have been the one and only gig of its kind ever held there."
