Jay Brown recalls in 2003: "It closed [around 1985] then re-opened as a laundro-bar; you could do your laundry and get lit at the same time, but no more live music. If my memory is correct, it was one of the first in the country. About a year ago, the former venue as well as about five blocks surrounding it (the entire bar district for the Ohio State University), were razed for an urban renewal type project.
