Venue notes: Galactica 2000, SacramentoDefunct music club originally opened as a "12,000-square-foot disco" circa 1980 by restaurateur Nick "Zorba" Galaxidas. Started booking punk and new wave acts shortly thereafter and continued to do so at least throiugh the early 80s. Was located on 15th St (15th & K). The site has been occupied since about 2006 by Capitol Garage, a bar and grill that also hosts live music.
