Over the years it became a prominent venue for emerging acts. The facility included an upstairs apartment to accommodate touring bands. According to the club's official website, which was still accessible as of late 2019, the owners sold the property to the city of Cologne at an unspecified date, probably sometime in 2017. The city planned to build a school on the site. The club continued to operate for a little while longer before finally closing its doors for good on 15 Sep 2017.
