Excellent retrospective of the club here.After the demise of City Gardens, a dance club reportedly occupied the space in 2000, Club XL, emphasizing R&B, hip-hop, reggae and oldies on different nights. That website went dark in 2004, and it's not clear if any subsequent businesses moved into the building, which is now derelict (but still standing as of 2019. (Thanks to blackgold ofdasun.)
