Venue notes: The Church, MontréalLocated at 3767 Berri Street. Since 1989 it has been a refuge for troubled street kids ( le Refuge des jeunes de Montréal).Correspondent Vincent Tinguely writes in Feb 2017: "It's a regular venue. I saw St. Vincent play there too - terrible venue though, acoustically and sightline-wise. The Hüsker Dü show [03 May 1985] happened in the cement-walled basement of the church, with sort of fake-art deco design frills but really basic. Sound was a nightmare, my ears rang for days after."
