Venue notes: The Boardwalk, Manchester UKPopular music venue dating at least to the 80s and surviving until sometime in 2001(?). It was located on Little Peter Street and evidently spent its last days as a dance club. The club reopened for one final blast, on New Year's Eve 2001, and closed for good in the wee hours of 01 Jan 2002, destined to be remodeled into apartments. Dermot Mitchell, looking back in 2005, recalls: "A fantastic, intimate little venue where I saw some great acts at close quarters.
